FORENSICA
I was searching all over the forum to find out if anybody is getting one of these somewhere close by. Unsuccessfully though. The closest I found was a place about 13 miles away. Not so bad, but still a bit of a track. Also, can anybody tell me how much should I expect to pay for it please? chelsea
We pay about £7.00 a bale, but I have heard people paying £9 a bale in I expect in London you could add a few more pounds on that!! (hope not though. ) Edited February 23, 2008 by Guest
Tessa the Duchess
I get mine delivered by GJW Titmuss who are in Herts. It costs £7 a bale, their delivery charge is £11.60 for any amount of stuff so I buy 2 bales at a time plus 40kg of layers pellets and other bits and pieces to keep delivery costs down. They are reliable and nice to deal with. Tessa

FORENSICA
Thanks for the ideas everybody. Tessa - the delivery charge seems a lot, but maybe it will be cheaper then driving 13miles back and forth every time I need something
Olly
ditto, I use GJW Titmuss - I calculated that while the delivery is £11.50, it would cost me around £5 in petrol if I drove there and back, not to mention the time (which I just never have enough of). I tend to order two 20kg bags of pellets at a time, luckily I have space to keep them and my five ladies eat them before they go out of date. They deliver normally within two days - even on Christmas Eve last year, which got me out of a potential mess!
