dogs and chickens
Hi All, Does anyone know anything about these breeds? If you have kept/keeping them how easy/difficult are they? We have 2 of each breed coming in August/September - I am so excited! But not as excited as I am about our cube and first six hens arriving in 21.5hours time approx..... Thanks
Ain't Nobody Here
I've only got a Cream Legbar hybrid (a Columbine) so can't offer advice on your breeds. Just wanted to say, how exciting ... make sure you let us see pictures . (She's lovely BTW, the cheekiest of my three and happy to be handled.) Snowy
I am so jealous of your silver campines! They are beautiful birds. I have a gold campine and she is just how Dan describes his Kylie! Very quick and cheeky, a real character and the pure white eggs are fabulous! She was a brilliant layer throughout her first year. She has only just started laying again after a November moult, so a longer break than the hybrids, but she laid as many eggs last year as one of my gingernuts!
