Guest
I'm so excited! I'm getting 3 girls (unless someone persuades me 4 or 5 would be happy in the eglu until the integrate into the cube - I wonder if The Anti Chicken is reading this???) We are going to call them three names I often call James by Not the obvious ones. Or Minky Manky Monkey (although I may reserve those for future use!) But Pickle, Pumkin and Poppet. Who is going to be at the rescue on Saturday for me to look out for and say hello to - I'll be the skinny one (well skinnier!) with the over cute little boy who needs a haircut, talks too loudly and a bit unclearly. peanut12
hey penguinmad We are getting ours this weekend but as we are a school, jean has very kindly offered to babysit until the start of the new week. Therefore, I won't be there in body, but my mind won't be anywhere else
chili pepper
I'll be there, I'm helping Jean this weekend and also getting my 4/5 this weekend I think. I will keep an eye out for you. I had 3 in an eglu and wish I had homed more. I think 4 or 5 in a eglu would be fine if they can stretch their legs during the day, they squash up so tight at night. Good luck with your girls! Guest
James and I are teribbly excited! The Anti Chicken had to lend me the cash (I NEVER carry cash) to pay for them, we had agreed to donate £10 for each one, when she gave me £30 I said "oh, what if they need some more re-homing....." She gave me another £20....

Guest
Yes Mum is the anti chicken and now she is coming part way - going to drop her off in Maldon and pick her up on the way back. That way she doesn't have to get upset seeing all the ex-batts but will be able to sit in the back and talk to ours all the way home! Daft moo only just got it that they are literally coming out of the battery farm TODAY, she thought they were already out and being nursed to health. I don't know how many times I@ve told her they could be oven ready. Still never mind. James is coming with me to get them and he is very excited too. Careful Peng....don't forget she is a forum member now and will be able to read what you say about her. You might find yourself on the naughty step. Rolo Rabbit
Hi Reistar - if you go to the FAQ section on the welcome page (under Chickens, Eggs and something else), there's a thread called How to get pictures on your signature or something like that! That sorted me out. Sorry this is a bit vague but I don't know how to give you a direct link. Hope you find it!
