Mirkwood
This is the email i recieved from Cadbury after i sent an Email telling them I objected to them using Battery eggs in their Cadbury Creme eggs Thanks for your recent enquiry regarding the very small amount of egg we use in our Creme Eggs. We are currently exploring the option of using only free range eggs in our recipe. There are issues, however, around supply and traceability so it's not possible at the moment, but it is certainly an option we are considering. We do appreciate your feedback and please be assured that no comments go unheard. Thank you once again for taking the time and trouble to contact us. TAJ
I didn't realise they actually did use egg in cream eggs - I thought when I saw the campaign it was a spoof! Tracy
Egluntyne
That seems a reasonable answer.
buffie
I didn't realise they actually did use egg in cream eggs - I thought when I saw the campaign it was a spoof! Tracy I've popped this into NB and sadly it's no spoof. If I can encourage you to pass the campaign onto your family and friends as we approach Easter Let's make a difference to the humble laying hen in a cage and get a free range Cadbury Creme Egg http://www.bhwt.org.uk/creme-eggs.php Thanks BBx

Tina C
I have just been into town - Woolworths and Waitrose have loads of Cadburys Creme eggs left over. Last Friday, Tesco had very little left on the shelves other than Creme eggs. Seems like the message has got through to quite a lot of people... Guest
Gosh! You can't usually get them at all after Easter! I won't eat anything that is an Easter Egg until it actually is Easter - and then I have never been able to get the Creme Eggs. I haven't at all this year though, because of the free-range issue. We tried the M+S Gooey egg which was ok but not really as good as a creme egg. Neither uses fair trade chocolate either, so I shouldn't have had any at all. The Dogmother
I've seen lots of CCEs too, but bought Phil and Rosie one each of the M&S ones (3 for a quid) and they loved them.
