Cazz
my chicken has been sat on egs for a while, yesterday a little balck chick appeared, and this morning there was a little yellow one. but when i went to check on them at 12.45 before work the yellow one was on its own on the floor (the nesting boxes are raised). i thought it was dead but noticed it trying to raise its head, i put it under my to and took it home into the brooder i made for the duckings. im not 100% to whether it just fell out of the box or if Peeks rejected it.Does anyone know if its possible to put the chick back in with her, or will she definately reject it? The chick is running around very noisily by he way

Egluntyne
If it isn't in with its mother, it will need to be kept warm. Have you got a brooder?
