Sheilaz
Is it April 1st again? Perhaps human Eglu wasn't so far fetched.....just remember it was my idea! Well, I thought Lupine was wolfish, better go & check, wouldn't be keeping wolves!
Jangle
The latin name for a rabbit is Oxyctolagus cuniculus so maybe they will name it a "Cuniculu" French for rabbit is Lapin - Lapinlu? Possibly Bunnylu. I can't think of anything as catchy as Eglu though.
Lesley
Rabbit Eglu

motherhen
I dashed onto the omlet home page only to be met with a link to the urban garden show and no pictures of the bunnylu to be seen!!! What I want to know is how have they got rabbits to lay eggs - or are the rabbits meant to be kept for meat? I've got some nice recipes for bunnys And of course in true RC mode - you can also cure the skins and make nice cosy things out of them. Has anyone actually seen what the bunnylu looks like?
Sheilaz
No, I assume we are expected to go to the urban garden show to find out! Although, I should think it will be advertised after that; perhaps its under wraps (furry ones) before the launch. "Eglu" does suggest egg laying doesn't it? Perhaps "The Breeding Room" would be an apt title.
Leanne
what about calling it a rab-den? or as its certain to be a very desirable home a des-rab!
