muzzie
i got some strawberries and a couple of them are bit battered but still fresh, can i chop them up and give to the chickens? A strawberry was the first treat that my girls were given they ate the leaf and wouldn't touch the beautiful red juicy berry.
mrsm_jones
My 4 have just devoured a banana, with the skin on! There was a bit of argy bargy to get to the bowl too! Kiev actually made a bid for freedom out of the run with her bit, but I couldn't let them out as I'm going out to get the kids from nursery soon. ajm200
Mine love all fruit. They get whatever my son leaves and anything that gone a bit mushy in the fruit bowl Their favourites are Watermelon any other melon (they prefer the seeds though) pear banana grapes sultanas necterine strawberries I believe the only fruit they can't have is citrus and avocado. Too much fruit seems to offset the benefit of the bokashi bran and increase the number of yellow stinky parcels they leave so their fruit intake is limited to every other day
Trixabell
yeah mine love strawberries, last night they got apples, grapes and banana mixed with bokashi bran and their worming stuff, they seemed to enjoy that lots x
