4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

we had a storm last night and 2 of our hens and our cockeral have gone missing one is left No sign of injury Anyone any ideas please, we are devastated.

Have they perhaps gone to shelter somewhere and not been able to find their way home? AFAIK, chickens don't have a great sense of direction. Maybe you could leaflet the area and go looking for them?

No advice really - just wanted to say sorry to hear your news. Keep your lone chicken safely tucked up tonight and fingers crossed the others will find their way home tomorrow.

Could you ask neighbours if you could look in their gardens?

 

They could be disorientated and hiding in shrubs.

Sorry to hear this, Lynne . I hope you find them soon. I know others have lost chickens only to find them later so hopefully you will too . I would ask around as much as possible - surely 2 hens and a cockeral would soon be spotted.

I was going to say too that if you got up early and walked around locally and they were shut in or lost surely you would hear the cockeral
