poachedegg
Jules, Next time you're going to IKEA or your sisters, you'll have to pop in and see if I'm doing it right! "Ooops, word censored!"ody I know keeps chickens, so I am in bit of a minority.

Jules.
Thank you for the invitation! ( It's my cousin's, I don't have a sister ) Funnily enough hubby & I were talking about going to Ikea on Saturday night- oh, the glamour I thought it might be a bit too soon to come & visit you. We went to Sainsbury's instead
Hen Watch
Lovely photos Poached Egg. They'll soon get the hang of it after those first few softies. Hope some of that initial panic has dissappeared now they are here. Enjoy......
poachedegg
Lovely photos Poached Egg. They'll soon get the hang of it after those first few softies. Hope some of that initial panic has dissappeared now they are here. Enjoy...... Yesterday and today we had a small egg we think from Betty - small but perfectly formed!! I found the one today....what a lovely experience! Mabel did a yolky poo today - so she may be laying soon! The girls went into the Eglu by themselves last night, so they look like they are settling more. Yes SOME of the intial panic has gone, though because I am on here all the time OH keeps asking ME everything (like I know!). Even Ruby the dog seems a little more used to them - though I still put her on her lead in the garden. And our 14yr old son was out chatting to them last night too (he didn't think we could see him) - shame the camera wasn't close to hand. Our Convertor came today (a day early!) - so when/if it stops raining will get OH to put it on - hopefully it won't be too difficult for him!
