AnnieP
...I've just made my first quiche! SO easy!! 1 pastry base 1 egg yolk 1 egg 75ml single cream 75 ml milk 1 oz grated cheese 1 small onion 2 rashers of bacon pepper 1. Buy a pre made base from Waitrose (hee hee) pre heat oven to gas mark 5 2. In a bowl mix egg and another egg yolk, milk and single cream. 3. chop up bacon and onion and fry lightly. 4. put the onion and bacon in the pastry base, pour over the eggy creamy mixture. Put some grated cheese on top. Season with pepper 5. cook for approx 30 mins (mine is fan adjusted oven). I am sure you could put other things in this, e.g. mushrooms, tomatoes, aubergines, peppers etc....Oh, I'm getting really eggcited now!!
