thanks for posting these, they look so happy. I was able to show hubby that all chickens do this, the first time he saw ours do it, was the 3rd day we had had them and I had been out, and came back and he said, hmm bad news one of the chickens is ill, on it's side and doesnt seem able to stand up.

Oh frenchlayer, that is funny!! They do sometimes look like they are having some kind of fit or have broken a limb though!!

They look lovely! Sylvie, our silver chicken, went dust bathing in a flower pot- she looked like she had been down a coal mine! Then decided to lay an egg and that was covered in compost too
