ubereglu
I'm doing a thing on battery hen farming at school. Will also include BHWT and my ICT teacher is a practically a hippy/treehugger!!! and will definitely like the idea of the BHWT. Plus she likes chickens-doesn't own any though. She liked my idea for a chicken website last year when doing website design!
ubereglu
I have now decided that the money I make from now on with recycled hens I will donate them 10% of that figure!

buffie
All the details for Jimmy's visit are listed at the start of the Jimmy's Farm announcement. A raffle and fund raising will be held, also card sales. I will be fundraising at the market from 10-2pm. Draw the raffle between 1 and 2, possibly at the end of the market I would imagine! buffie
Great liz. Well I have the go ahead to be a regular at Jimmy's market now. It will be a little different to this last saturday in that it will be solely about promotion of the charity and fundaraising. We'll go home afterwards unless we arrnage another xmas do in 2007! We have commited to Easter and Christmas 2007. If anyone has ideas of how I can get my 'stall' up and running just get in touch. I want it to stand out and look good. Need an awning of some kind too. buffie
Thanks Clare and don't worry about Easter. Not having all the raffle stuff alongside will be less of a complication next time and we will be outside so easily seen I hope! BBx

Mrs Frugal
That would be good. I've not got one, I'm afraid, Buffs but you can rely on me, LSH and the boys to help with the fund raising at Easter with you.

Sheilaz
.... We did have 2 gazebos but they were wrecked on the day of the get-together here in the summer Please confirm that it was due to the sudden strong winds on the day Lesley. People might think that your guests were unruly vandals! PS. Well done, Buffie, both for last Sat. and for organizing the next 2 dates.
