Wow Jodie won it fantastic! A great voice and perfect personality for "Nancy". The best girl won by far and she's an inspiration to everyone! Well done her!

I was surprised that Fagin is going to be played by Rowan Atkinson.

Yeah she seems very natural. I think Rowan Atkinson could be good. We don't know yet who's going to play Bill Sykes do we?

Yes your right. I think Jessie was too young and the accent didn't really work. Jodie will be great and I hope prove CM and ALW wrong!

Am thrilled. We've been backing her from the outset.

 

Loved Samantha too, what a lovely looking girl, and her rendition of Defying Gravity from Wicked was the highlight of the series for me. She will be a huge star very soon.

 

But Jodie had a super voice, looked the part and could do the cockney accent.

 

And she was modest and had humility, accepted constructive criticism graciously and acted upon it, unlike some of the previous losers. A thoroughly likeable girl.

 

I would pay money to see her.

Yes she's always been our favourite. I definitely want to see her in the role. Apparently Burn Gorman from Torchwood is going to play Bill Sykes? I don't know himbut he must be good.

He was in Bleak House - playing a bit of a snivelling character in that. I think he should be quite good.

 

I'm glad Jodie won out of the three that were left (I haven't watched it yet - we were out to dinner last night).

 

I really wanted Rachel to win though and was disappointed when ALW chose Samantha over her. I thought Rachel was very expressive when she sang.

 

We all said that if Jessie won then we wouldn't go to see the show. Half the time we couldn't understand what she was singing or saying. Although her rendition of the Judy Garland song was fantastic.

I really wanted Jessie to win. I think an Irish Nancy would have been wonderful as London was full of immigrants at the time because people came over after the potato famine.

 

Jodie was just a bit to in your face and I don't think she had enough softness.

I'm really glad Jodie won - Jessie really irritated the life out of me, she just couldn't move on stage and seemed very manly in her stance. I certainly wouldn't pay to see her.

 

Thank Goodness the British public voted for Jodie.
