Loved Samantha too, what a lovely looking girl, and her rendition of Defying Gravity from Wicked was the highlight of the series for me. She will be a huge star very soon. But Jodie had a super voice, looked the part and could do the cockney accent. And she was modest and had humility, accepted constructive criticism graciously and acted upon it, unlike some of the previous losers. A thoroughly likeable girl. I would pay money to see her. I'm glad Jodie won out of the three that were left (I haven't watched it yet - we were out to dinner last night). I really wanted Rachel to win though and was disappointed when ALW chose Samantha over her. I thought Rachel was very expressive when she sang. We all said that if Jessie won then we wouldn't go to see the show. Half the time we couldn't understand what she was singing or saying. Although her rendition of the Judy Garland song was fantastic. I think an Irish Nancy would have been wonderful as London was full of immigrants at the time because people came over after the potato famine.
