Guest
Interesting comment btw Gina - I am looking for a new car but it will be something like a Citroen ZX estate Diesel so that I can run it on used chip fat - another "lets be greener" idea which should also be good on economy driving back to and forth to the International Airport!! Mr Strawbridge on It's not easy being green did that on his land rover. But I'm sure he said that he still had to pay tax to the government. He built a 'cleanser' system which seemed to take an awful amount of space and uses chip fat from the local F+C shop. But he reckoned it still cost him 70p a litre! I think that is outrageous, how can the government tax somebody for using old chip fat to run their car?

Chicken on a mission
I found that disgusting. The govt should be trying to incentivise going green. Hardly that is it
The Dogmother
I contacted our local council to see if there were any grants or incentives for solar panels, wind turbines and grey water collection systems, and you can guess what the answer was.... yes, you've guessed, a big fat 'NO'
Popcorn
hardly surpising. The government don't seem to know their a**e from their elbow at the minute... (does that need modding!)
