Good for you Andrew. Hope you're really happy in your new job and I'm so glad you made the announcement here :D ! We love things like that as it's any excuse for a party here :wink: !

 

Great feeling when you tell the boss "Goodbye!". I left a job I hated a few years back with Lynryd Skynyrd's "Freebird" blaring out on the car stereo through the open windows! It's a good leaving tune!!

Congratulations Andrew - nothing beats the last day, when you can stop being nice to the people you hate, and can wave goodbye with a HUGE smile on your face!

 

I recently packed in a job I truely despised, and have never felt happier!

OH keeps saying "that's nothing to do with chickens" whenever I am in the nesting box. He's not got it yet :roll:

Congratulations :P

It's lovely to hear some good news, and you sound so fantastically happy about it. Loads and loads of good wishes for the new job at Bristol International :wink: Airport.

You're starting at a busy time of year I'd guess though 8), not too much time to settle in and find your feet before the holiday-making hordes start arriving and trampling you in the rush :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Thanks every so much for all your good wishes - the new job is as supervisor at Hertz at the car hire hall. I already work at the Gloucester branch as Supervisor and HATE it - well i do today especially after 11.5 hours and no lunch!!!

 

But I do get to finish at 1.00 tomorrow so can come home nice and early to be with the girls.

 

If all goes to plan I will be a Duty Manager in 6-12 months

 

Interesting comment btw Gina - I am looking for a new car :lol: but it will be something like a Citroen ZX estate Diesel so that I can run it on used chip fat - another "lets be greener" idea which should also be good on economy driving back to and forth to the International Airport!!

 

It's looking so different down there these days - massive changes are planned for huge expansion :roll:

Andrew - I'm afraid to say I'm definatly a girls girl and have NO idea what cars are called or what they look like. I can do colours though :wink:

 

Love the idea of running it on chip fat! Do you get a free bag of chips with every can :lol:

 

Must be the week for getting new jobs. We were celebrating last night. My hubby was offered a new fabby job yesterday too!
