Mrs Frugal
Good for you Andrew. Hope you're really happy in your new job and I'm so glad you made the announcement here ! We love things like that as it's any excuse for a party here ! Great feeling when you tell the boss "Goodbye!". I left a job I hated a few years back with Lynryd Skynyrd's "Freebird" blaring out on the car stereo through the open windows! It's a good leaving tune!! Guest
Congratulations Andrew - nothing beats the last day, when you can stop being nice to the people you hate, and can wave goodbye with a HUGE smile on your face! I recently packed in a job I truely despised, and have never felt happier!

chocchick
Fab news ,well done you! And don't worry about it being non-chicken related - thats what The Nesting Box is all about OH keeps saying "that's nothing to do with chickens" whenever I am in the nesting box. He's not got it yet Congratulations on the new job!!!
Cate in NZ
Congratulations It's lovely to hear some good news, and you sound so fantastically happy about it. Loads and loads of good wishes for the new job at Bristol International Airport. You're starting at a busy time of year I'd guess though , not too much time to settle in and find your feet before the holiday-making hordes start arriving and trampling you in the rush
One Man Banned
Thanks every so much for all your good wishes - the new job is as supervisor at Hertz at the car hire hall. I already work at the Gloucester branch as Supervisor and HATE it - well i do today especially after 11.5 hours and no lunch!!! But I do get to finish at 1.00 tomorrow so can come home nice and early to be with the girls. If all goes to plan I will be a Duty Manager in 6-12 months Interesting comment btw Gina - I am looking for a new car but it will be something like a Citroen ZX estate Diesel so that I can run it on used chip fat - another "lets be greener" idea which should also be good on economy driving back to and forth to the International Airport!! It's looking so different down there these days - massive changes are planned for huge expansion
The Dogmother
Great news Andrew - power to you! Love the cars - The Boy's brother does body work on mainly Volvos. Still, there's nothing wrong with a Berlingo, especially when it's bright green!
Popcorn
Interesting comment btw Gina - I am looking for a new car but it will be something like a Citroen ZX estate Diesel Andrew - I'm afraid to say I'm definatly a girls girl and have NO idea what cars are called or what they look like. I can do colours though Love the idea of running it on chip fat! Do you get a free bag of chips with every can Must be the week for getting new jobs. We were celebrating last night. My hubby was offered a new fabby job yesterday too!
Mrs Frugal
Woah! Congratulations Darren!! Great news Gina. I'm a girly girl too and don't know anything about cars but I love the idea of running one on cooking oil, Andrew. Good luck with that project.
