Charlottechicken
Did anyone see this ad in the classifieds in the July Practical Poultry? It is on the bottom right of page 65, and sounds lovely! Semi-rural 1900 cottage for sale near Orpington, Kent. Freehold. £222,500 Bargain if you ask me! (or is it falling down ) Anyone know this lovely sounding place
Snowy
Wow, sounds gorgeous! I missed that. Sounds an ideal home for someone wanting to set up a small poultry business I'd love it but some of the children would need to have a tent in the garden - not enough bedrooms
Cate in NZ
Ooooh, I'm currently living just outside Orpington. I wonder where that place is, sounds like it could be worth a mosey round. Actually I think I might just know where it is, not sure but it rings several bells......do they say who the agent is? It might just be where we bought Phil & Brie from 3 years or so ago. abwsco
This could be the next Omlet must have Sounds gorgeous and great price What is the catch? I think it's a lady on practical poultry who needs to sell as they have (or did have) a new place to go to and the buyer they had messed them around and pulled out on the day of exchange. I hate it when that happens Selling/buying is stressful enough without being messed around

Cooks
it is nice, but just 'nice' nothing spectaular, I prefer detached houses or large semi's with a bit of land around as I feel a tad claustraphobic otherwise. I am not in my dream house, but it is a lovely house, it was about buying a house in the right catchment area within this village and houses rarely come up for sale. When the children are older I will move to a dream place... it's my plan
Cate in NZ
It is the place I thought it was . Either it's come back on the market recently or they've been trying to sell for ages. It's quite a nice location, golf course on the opposite side of the road, fields to the back and on a fairly narrow contry lane. But it's tiny inside and there's no back entrance (being a terrace of course). When we went to buy Phil & Brie they had tiny chicks under a lamp in the kitchen . Reikiranf
It's the "Home farm fowls" place, I went there in March to get a few essentials. They were all set to move in April so it obviously fell through, I hope the move goes through for them this time even though I'm disappointed to lose them as it's good having such nice, helpful poultry product suppliers nearby.
