Wanted to get one the same day really, thought it would be easier. I know Cambridge Poultry have some Amber Stars in, so may go over there. Thornes orginally told me monday (just gone) but looks like this has changed which is a shame. Our 3 year son is so excited. He keeps asking how many sleeps till the chickens come, and telling people he is going to have a farm in his garden! Will need to work out how to add some photos on here to! I have an amber type which came from there and she's lovely, although she's a bit greedy, jumping up like a naughty puppy for treats. Karl told me the 16th, but he is off all week, and spoke to Frank on Saturday and he didnt know anything about a delivery. Letchowrth would be far easier, so fingers crossed. They had had a delivery on the Thursday and when I went on the Saturday Karl was just in with them putting them into boxes for a long queue of buyers. We got three from there and they are lovely, although the white one (who still remains nameless) is the most timid and scatty! My Black Maran Cuvree is gorgeous but my 4 yr old daugter insisted on calling her Tony! Good luck, but if they do have a delivery, rush down to get in line!
