.... every 3rd to 4th poo can be more runny/orange? Wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Or if could just be them settling in still. Debating whether to try some brokashi bran. If so, where is the cheapest place?

It is every 10th or so, and it comes from an area of the gut called the ceacum, which is involved in the processing of vegetable matter.

 

Chip shop curry sauce is the closest description.

Mine seem to have stopped doing these - from being about 6 months old, most poos were the typical grey/white ones. But these are HUGE, especially the first one in the morning...

I'm from down-to-earth-Derby originally, now with my new chicks in Maidenhead.

bantams do lovely (!) tiny little poos - it amazes me how neat and tidy they are in comparison with the big girls'!
