We've only had our ladies for 6 weeks and we are getting 2- 3 eggs a day now - I love it. Trouble is, I seem to be getting rather a lot of egg requests from family & friends, so haven't eaten many. Probably just as well or our cholesterol level will be sky high otherwise! How many chooks do you have? What are they like? Please don't worry about eggs affecting your cholesterol levels! Eating cholesterol in the form of eggs is much less harmful than the cholesterol created by eating saturated fats. Hi ya Jak, You don't have to keep the eggs in the fridge if you don't want to. They really are the freshest eggs we will ever eat so they won't go off very quick at all.
