How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

As I type, the grandfather of one of my minded children is putting my pen together! Eggciting!

 

My cube is due to arrive on the 11th, no amount of persuasion could produce an earlier delivery, despite whinging and saying that some people have ordered after me and got delivery dates earlier. ( All to do with van space, 3 cubes to a van, or 5 eglus)

 

I am wondering can I put hemcore/auboise/easibed on the whole floor area, ( (9'x9') or should I use woodchip? I am going to wait until all the grass has disappeared,) lush and long at the moment,)

 

Is is okay to cover that sort of area, is it just a matter of preference? The pen has a roof.

Mines coming on the 11th too. I am getting an eglu though. What date did you order? Mine was the 15th June.

I originally ordered a cube in mid may, to be delivered on 16th Jine, but after attending a hen party on the 6th June, changed to a cube, so waiting a LONG time!

It's down to personal taste, but I'd put some kickboards around the bottom of the run and use Aubiose or Hemcore inside it. Egluntine has the same run by the sounds of yours and she uses Aubiose in hers.

Yes....I use Aubiose in my pen. It also has a roof. I poo pick the obvious ones every couple of days and so a bale of Aubiose lasts about 6-8 weeks, dependng on how much free ranging they have done.

 

I just sweep it up and compost it. The pen is on cobbles. and is 9' x 18'.

Sorry that you are having to wait so long for your cube. I know how excited you were when you came to the Hen Party.

I've also got the covered poultry pen (9X24) and use aubiose on the floor, I tend to just empty a bag on the floor evey 2 weeks and shovel up any mucky looking aubiose daily. I've got a cube as accommodation too. I've got 9 (BHWT) girls in there but I'm always wondering if I could fit a few more in - any one got any thoughts on numbers?

I use auboise or similar in my run, but just a word of warning.....don't build your cube outside the run, as it won't fit through the door when it's all put together, I did and had to dismantle some of it

I've got eleven in mine and they have plenty of room, and yours is 6 ft longer.
