chucknette
Morning Timmy Thats a difficult one isn't it? Is she quite young if not she may be coming to the end of her laying. If shes young you could give her a boost with poultry spice or which ever tonic you use. Cut down on treats is a good one. You could give a little protein ie tuna or live meal worms. Hope this helps Best Wishes
Louise
It is normal for a chicken to take a break although this is more normal in the winter and affects pure breeds more than hybrids My two stop around about Novemebr and start up again in March normally but they are pure breeds I wouldn't worry too much but do as advised abova and hopefully she is just taking a wee break from laying and will start again soon

Yolky
Have you wormed her lately? Perhaps she needs a dose of flubenvet (I think that is the name of it)
Christian
Has she been treated for worms?
stoice
Is she moulting? She could go off lay if so. Is she in her 'golden years' and stopped due to age? Is she maybe laying under a bush somewhere if she free-ranges? Is she scoffing too many treats instead of pellets/mash?
Timmy
Ok, thanks all, No, she's NOT moulting No, she's only 6 months old No, we had the netting up so she couldn't No, we stopped with treasts to see if it made any difference - It didn't We also wormed her, has anyone else got any ideas? daj198
In hot weather they drink alot and I find this makes mine stop laying as I assume they find it difficult to get enough water to put in the eggs. I've no idea if this assumption is correct but try giving them more water. How old are hybrids usually when they stop laying?
