How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Today I picked up my four new girls, two Ambers and two Sussex Stars. I would never have found the place unless purple hen (Val) hadn't come with me to show me where. THanks Val. I also got to see her three girls, all so sweet.

 

Introducing from the top, clockwise; Alice, Felicity, Amber and Flora. All the girls are so gentle and calm, unlike my flighty skylines!

 

Amber is the most perfect hen I've ever seen! She has beautiful feathers and her colouring is just perfect. We knew we wanted her as soon as we saw her. Felicity the Sussex is to the right, she's lovely too. Her beak has broken off at the top but I'm sure it will grow back.

 

Flora is the other Sussex Star, I didn't notice until we got her home that her tail feathers are very s"Ooops, word censored!"py like they've been plucked out. I've checked to see if there's any damage but she seems fine and there are feathers growing back. I can't believe she let me stroke and pick her up so soon.

 

Alice is a very pale white slightly cream necked Amber Star. She is very gentle too. Her feathers are so incredibly soft, I am smitten already.

They are all gorgeous and look very happy in their new home. Well worth getting rained on for. Good job Prudence was with me, those Bluebelles were very tempting.

I've just been out (again) to see if they are all ok. Poor little loves didn't know that the green eglu was their new home and they were huddling together at the other end of the run. They are so calm and gentle that I was able to pick them up as they tried to walk into my arms . . bless! I have carefully put them all into the eglu to sleep together.

 

I am so not used to calm and gentle hens . . . I have a stroppy leghorn, a bolshi black rock not to mention three flighty, unfriendly columbines/skylines.

 

I am totally smitten with the four calm gentle loves. Ahhhhhhhhhh
