Just wondering as omlet actually warned me this might happen so I am guessing it is quite a regular occurance. I would be over the moon if mine came early as it would give me an extra day to work out how to put it together before my girls are coming.

and also I am too excited.

There have been a few posts about deliveries - but at least if you know you'll be in, it's a bonus if yours comes early .

I did a poll on this a wee while back - very few people received deliveries late but there seemed about as much chance of getting it early as getting it on time - main concerns about this from folk were - delivery left outside house and therefore unsafe; day taken off work to suit the day it was meant to be delivered.

Mine was due on a Friday and they tried to deliver it on the Thursday and left a card

 

Because my nearest depot is in Carlisle (60 miles away) by the time I phoned on the Friday morning (as early as the card said to call) the van had already left

 

Fortunately I was off work on the Monday so able to take delivery then

 

I was annoyed at the time but that was 4 years ago now

Mine came a day early. The guy left it outside my backdoor. I could barely find the backdoor when I came home!! The boxes are bigger than you expect!!

Mine was delivered several days early and left outside while I was on holiday. I ordered it for delivery on 30th June (a monday), but it came some time around 26/27 June. When I got back from holiday, among all the post and junk mail I had a note scrawled on a piece of lined notepaper saying "Delivery up side house" (sic). No indication of who it was from, when or what was delivered. Anyway, there was nothing anywhere around the house so we were a little confused. My wife had ordered some furniture for delivery on the 3rd and I had ordered the Eglu to be delivered on 30th and we thought neither would be just left outside. Turned out that a neighbour had seen the big boxes parked outside the back door and dragged them into his garage for safe keeping; it was the Eglu.

I would have thought at least they should be capable of leaving a proper delivery note if they don't deliver on the appointed date. They also have telephone details to verify delivery is ok.

Ours was delivered a day early, but I half-expected this when I checked my online banking and saw that my account had been debited. Sure enough, the Eglu arrived the next day.

My second eglu arrived a day early. I didn't notice what the name on the side of the van was but I remember that the middle-aged tubby driver was dressed as if he had fallen out of bed.
