I think it's about time mine have a proper wash, rather than just a wipe over, they are now my 'Chicken shoes' need I say more?

 

I've heard that you can wash them in the washing machine, is this true?

 

What cycle do you use, any detergant and do they need to go in a bag or somsort to protect them?

I'd like to get them looking less poo and grass stained, they beginning to look like they're meant to be camoflage (sp)!!

mine go in the washing machine - I do them on 30 or 40 degree wash and just throw them in.!

They shrink in the tumble drier apparently.

 

They dry with a towel in 2 seconds anyway, so I've never seen the point of tumbling them.

 

They come up like new in the washing machine.

When I was my downstairs floors I just throw them in the bucket at the end and give them a wash.

Mine are powder blue, shall I use powder for coloured things?

I just scrub mine with a sponge and ecover in a trug!

Mine just go in with the washing, whatever colour it is as they don't leach any colour at all.

Mine have never met the washing machine

 

They go in the shower before me each mornin, quick scrub with [old] dishwasher brush and washing up liquid and they're dry by the time I get out

I love the sea foam, very fresh looking, I'd feel like a paddle in the sea in them!
