Rabbit Eglu has come early and is brilliant!

Recommended Posts

After much consideration I bought a bright pink rablu and I am amazed. I must admit I felt a little apprehensive that it wouldn't be big enough for my two medium sized bunnies but they have room to stretch up on their back legs and lay down full length next to each other. I leave the door open so they have unlimited access to the run and they seem to love it. They have always been very friendly but a little reluctant to come to you, they always preferred me to do the running, but now they run in circles hopping and jumping in excitement licking me through the bars as I go to brush them/give them a treat. My rex is a little on the chubby side and to be honest I have never seen him do so much excercise even though before he had full run of a garden for half the day. I think he must feel safer behind the wire of the eglu, whereas before he was just protected by rabbit and dog proof fences. I have just gone to buy a matching grub, glug and sun shade for their new home!

I am really glad.

Since getting mine a couple of months ago, I have noticed a huge difference in the weight of one of my houserabbits- he was a little podgy and was getting bored. Now he is active and much slimmer.

Now all 3 are happily bouncing round their run and I feel happy they are safe. I could never have left them out during the day before as they are such good tunnellers.

They are currently sitting out with their noses in the air looking terribly content. I love my rablu and even my cynical mother was impressed!

I am contemplating the new colour co-ordinated shade even though the green one is perfectly fine.

Having just read your new post saying you have got a bun- well done- you can now see how much better the rablu is.

My husband was deeply sceptical before the rablu and total convert now. I am very disappointed by what you have said about the RSPCA but as I help with a local cat rescue I have heard some terrible tales about them there too.

You have a lovely bun who is going to enjoy a wonderful life- they could have gone to a person who shut them up at the bottom of the garden so you have sort of rescued her.

Hi Catherine

Which cat rescue do you work for? I help out with Shrewsbury Cats Protection and have also heard horrendous things about the RSPCA.
