Poplars Posted July 25, 2008 Share Posted July 25, 2008 I was just wondering when I saw my chicken on the gravel path the other day if they could mistake the gravel for bits of food or are they not quite that stupid ? Actually my lot love to dig in the gravel to find small beasties to eat and they also eat small pieces of grit - so extra grit into your chickens! dancing cloud Posted July 25, 2008 Share Posted July 25, 2008 I've seen mine eat small pieces of gravel, and they do need grit so haven't worried about it.
