oatley
Our chicks are due tomorrow - or possibly today as some are bantam eggs which many people say hatch a day early. Here is the patient little mum - Audrey. Last time we left her in with Margaret and everything went fine with the babies, but this time we thought it best to invest in her own little broody coop in case the boys gave her trouble. I wioll post again with more pictures after hatching. I am fairly optimistic that some will hatch as we candled them a couple of days ago and all 8 had live chicks in at that point. Egg Lou
Hi Oatley My Pekins hatched 2 weeks ago and all four arrived on day 19 so you shouldn't have long to wait! Best of luck and post pics as would be lovely to compare against my colours!

I am leaving her alone to do her mum thing - but if my ears are proof - we have some babies!! We have 2 non-bantam eggs under her plus one that her sister managed to sneak into the nest the day after she started sitting, so I want to give her some space until those three hatch also - hopefully photos by Monday? Egg Lou
Forgot to add .. don't be surprised if the Lavendars all come out different colours... all four of mine are from the same Lavendar parents but all are very different!
