The Dogmother
My Dad always gets a bar of Old Jamaica as an extra preesie on Fathers Day Can you still get it? It's my father's fave too, and I remember a few years ago doing a massive trawl of the internet, and it has been discontinued
Cookie
Well while the OH was away doing a triathlon at the weekend, the children and I made him a home made Fathers Day pressie - guaranteed to make him all soppy and tearful. We've made him a book called "Why we love you" and inside the children have come up with great sentences saying why they love Dad and have then drawn pictures to go with each idea. Its really sweet and most of what they came up with is fairly standard stuff 'you take us swimming' and 'I love it when you read my bedtime story' but DD who is 3 came up with the best one... "I like it when you cook becasue you make us pasta with ketchup" I had no idea about this. I do all the cooking normally (you can see why! ) but apparently whenever OH is home alone and cooks for them he cooks up some pasta, squirts ketchup all over it, and they wolf it down DD did a fab drawing in her brightest felt tips of a plate of pasta with BRIGHT RED ketchup all over it! Cookie. xx
