AJuff
How do people attach roosting twigs/branches across the run?
Ain't Nobody Here
I just use sticks that fit through the bars. My shoe racks fit nicely through the bars too .
Yolky
I used cable ties to keep the perch steady.
Ain't Nobody Here
Just remembered that I've used old shoelaces just to secure the shoeracks completely .
Snowy
Mine are mostly wedged in place, with the odd cable tie for the wobbly bits
Lapinou
Our perch is a wooden baton, so DH just sawed a small niche in one end of it so it is held in place by the mesh IYSWIM!
Gallina
I imagine it is easier to do in the Eglu run, where you can easily widen the run sides to slip things in and then narrow the sides again. The Cube run is more rigid, and you couldn't wedge bars from the inside in the same way, so it's best to get wood that slips through. Electricbarbarella
I have copied the shoe rack idea, but in the cube it just sits in the run. I tried a broom handle just pushed threough but my dd's kept pulling it out to fight ewith.
