Yolky Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 Got back from my hols last night, missed the girls like mad they only seemed to miss the treats lol! another one has come into lay since I went away so 2 lovely eggies a day now. The weldmesh arrived while we were away and the husband has been looking through the run thread for ideas and is now on his way to B&Q to get everything to make our walk in run!!!!!!!!!!!!! helenc Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 We have been making ours this week, it should be finished today (I hope anyway) although it is only temporary as where we really want it to go needs to have some trees cut back and removed and we have to get planning permission first. helenc Posted August 9, 2008 Share Posted August 9, 2008 Its the same here but the run has a bit of shelter from the surrounding trees and there was only the last part of the roof and the door to do, luckily we have a lot of room in the garage so the door has been made in there and then they haven't got too wet putting it on. We just need to edge the bottom of the frame with some bricks (as it is temporary) rather than with wire and put the bedding in. I am hoping to put the chickens in there today, they look soaked in the eglu run even with an extra cover on!
