MadMitch
whilst out shopping one Saturday afternoon. OH says, I think I'll get a new lawn mower. I said why, do we need one, is the other one broken. (if anyone knows the tv programme home improvements, my OH is like Tool Time Tim when it comes to machines and power tools). He replied no its not broken I just want a new one. I again said but we don't really need one. He said well if I get one you can get something as well. I replied but I don't need anything. He then said why don't you get an eglu to go with your cube. To which I replied we're not doing anything special, lets go an choose a lawn mower now. Anyway it was due to be delivered on Friday but I was just in the kitchen sorting out dinner and a Neightfreight van pulled into the drive so its here yipee

dogs and chickens
Wow where did you get him from, he sounds very good . I would love a pink eglu to go with the purple cube - lucky you. Can't complain about my hubby though he's one in a million. Good for you, are you going to get some more chickens now? Or just move the girls round? If more what breed/breeds will you get - how eggciting for you
MadMitch
Haven't really thought about what I'm going to do with it yet. I just didn't want to miss the opportunity of getting one. We have talked about getting another old english phesant fowl and a welsummer to join Myfanwy and Bronwyn as the ixworths and dorkings both pair up together and them two always seem a bit lonely so I will probably use it to introduce them first, then I think I may get some ex batts.
