Janty
Hubby has just peeled an enormous, funny shaped potato that I think looks like a pair of testicles (correct anatomical word here!). He thinks that's strange which to be honest his reaction makes the testicle shaped spud even funnier. He wonders what you lot would make of this and asks if there were any psychologists on the forum (professional or amateur).
Mumpty
Do we get a photo or have you eaten it (them!) now?
alexgirl73
hah!! You and my hubby would get on great then 'cause mine came through with a potato that he was convinced looked like a boob!! it had a little bump on it that he said was the nipple, and proceeded to ask me if I'd like to feel his boobie Oh the things they find amusing
Janty
They truly are amusing! I have eaten the potato in question. Hubby made me slimming world style 'free chips' which means no fat (only fry light) and baked in the oven. Very nice they are too...especially with a couple of bantam eggs. alexgirl73
ooh I love slimming world chips! I'm just too lazy to make them most of the time I have some fab slimming world recipes that I make all the time though. My fave being egg fried rice
Janty
Last night we made free wedges....Big, enormous, huge (get the idea!) potatoes, cut into fours, par boiled and then tossed in cajun spices and roasted. We then made a free salsa with tomatoes from the polytunnel. Yum!

redfrock
sounds like I will be picking your brains for recipes - I go to my first class on Wednesday and am dead nervous (sorry to hijack your thread!)
Janty
sounds like I will be picking your brains for recipes - I go to my first class on Wednesday and am dead nervous (sorry to hijack your thread!) Don't worry...perhaps we should start a slimming world support thread. What do you both think? I have been going for ages but to be honest although I know the plan inside out, my heart hasn't been in it and I have been going along to mainly support Mum-in-law. I have my resolve back now and I am more focussed. I hope!
Janty
Have you tried the cheese and lentil wedges? delish!!! Haven't heard of these. Are they in one of the recipe books? How do you do them?

AnnieP
As this has turned into a foodie topic, I have moved it to "All things nice". Hope thats ok with everyone... Not sure that the start of the topic could have been seen as "All things nice" though!
