Valkyrie
What with the previous scaley leg problem (Cheyenne did not have it at all), Sioux is now showing to have a swollen foot in the afternoons. She is clear in the morning and it is normal. I have looked at both feet for any sign of infection but there doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary and both feet are normal temperature. She is not showing any other signs of trouble - eating (everything and anything) and running around, except for stork impressions later in the day when her middle toe looks swollen underneath. Could she have twisted her ankle (?) while jumping down from the walls or ladder? Is there anything else I can do for her apart from keeping an eye for a couple more days before pouncing on the vet? None of the birds are laying yet although I have just started to introduce the layers pellets. I have also been adding Bachs remedy to their water so that when I attempt to pick her up she doesn't stress out quite as much. All birds are happy enough together and she isn't being picked on. Any help would be appreciated.
