Guest
nice one Richard!! do you belong to the society of spoonerites?? (is there such a thing) if so - you might remember Keny Everett's made-up names for a couple of his characters.... (I'd probably be moderated here if I wrote them because whilst on the surface they are perfectly innocent names - with a little dose of spoonerism they become very rude indeed!!) - so if you want to know - you'd have to PM me and ask... Richard T
Fellow Hill I think I would probably want to avoid any spatherings of goonerites and would mun a rile from a spock of floonerists, or is it a sperd of hooners? I remember some of Kenny Everett's characters' names. But as Miss Stunt would doubtless say, it was all done in the best possible taste. (Remember Cleo Rocas, who appeared in the Kenny Everett shows? She walked past my flat once, when I lived in Fulham ) Richard T
Guest
Ahh - yes.. Miss Stunt* was one of them... allegedly the BBC objected to the name when the Kenny Everett show moved over from ITV - so Kenny suggested Miss Hinge* as an alternative!! (they kept Miss Stunt I believe!) Phil (* first names omitted for the sake of good taste...)
