So over one boring movie on the telly I made these http://bjrn.net/gallery/KnittedToys/DSCF4643 . Hope you like them

FORENSICA
Sure, it comes from book called Simple knits for easy living, however I changed what I could on it The original should be done in Rowan Handknit D.K Coton and in moss stich. I used Darling (Peter Pan) which is identical to Snowflake I reckon, just cheaper . 3 3/4mm needles and knitted in garter stich (all K rows). Soles : Cast on 9st.Work one row.Next row inc1 at each end.Continue without shaping till sole measures 9cm.Dec1at each end.Cast of. Uppers : Cast on 19st. Inc 1st at end of next row and on next 5 rows at the same edge for toe shaping (25st).Work 4 rows without shaping.Cast off 12st at the beg of next row.Dec 1st at end of next row. Dec 1st at beg of next row. Increase 1st at end.Work 1 row without shaping. Cast on 13st at the end of next row (25st).Work 4 rows. Dec 1st at toe end on next 6 rows. Cast off remaining 19 st. I put a thin rubber band on top (as I am rubbish at increasing with that yarn, it was a bit loose) and decorate as you wish Or make them some of the toys I knitted for my friends' children. They are all on the same site as the booties and can guarantee a great success
