chickencam
We don't usually get round to planting stuff for overwintering, but this year we have. On Saturday it was lovely and we planted:- onions garlic broad beans turnips (these are an experiment, they may grow if they germinate whilst this mild spell continues, but they were left over seed which would have gone to waste otherwise so we shall see) On Sunday I potted on my spring greens and cabbages I have about 36 plants of 3 different varieties, so hopefully for the first time ever we may have something other than purple sprouting in the spring Also finished planting up my pots with bulbs, cyclamen and pansies. I love the mini cyclamen they come in such lovely bright colours and are scented too, I have loads growing in the garden where they have been houseplants and then I have put the corms in the garden in the spring over the last few years
