Patridge bantam chicken poorly foot?

we have had our girls & Eglu for just over 4 months now.

The novelty of having to keep moving the run around had worn off, so we are planning to have a walk in run. We have looked through all the photos, but realisticly not sure we could build something ourselves, but we do think we could probably put a kit together. Does anyone have experience of the ones on Flytesofancy website? They are expensive, anyone know if a) they have sales at anytime, b) how long a run could last??

We've got them as well - they should last quite some time if looked after.

thanks for your thoughts, we are really unsure about this. So I guess we will keep moving them. I dont really want to just move the run & eglu onto slabs because then we will NEVER get a walk in run

There was another thread recently on walk in runs - it doesnt have the answers to your questions but was still an interesting read if you are looking at a walk in run

Phil has just built one of the flightsofancy runs for Tiggy, he says that it's really lovely, but the instructions are a bit of a challenge

Surely if the timber is pressure treated it should last ages?

I've got one and am very pleased with it.

 

I've no idea if they put them in sales. I doubt it though, as they are one of their best sellers.

 

They are made from pressure treated timber.
