She's been crouching enthusiastically for the past week or so, so I knew it wouldn't be long. She followed Hilda in to the nest box and laid one at the same time as her! Obviously needed a bit of moral support! Two blue eggs in one day- what a treat! It was OH's birthday too & He's decided that it was her little present to him! Now I don't know whether Betty has been showing off because she was the first to start laying, but she laid the most enormous egg this morning- 72g! Enormous by my standards, I now realise... just consulted the large egg leader board... 150g Egluntine?!!! Makes my eyes water at the mere thought of it!
