My hubby brought home a Guitar Hero for our PS2 today that he had bought in the HMV sale. Everyone else is pretty good but to say I was rubbish would be an understatement. OH has just spent the last hour trying to get me to play the intro for Kaiser Cheifs Ruby.

 

I did it eventually but it was painful

 

Everyone has had great fun this evening though, OH and ED are very competative

I haven't tried Guitar Hero yet (DS had PS3 with it for Christmas) but I suspect that I won't have the slightest bit of rhythm Having seen him play it, and how good he is I don't stand a chance :lol:

Well normally I would say that I do have a reasonable sense of rhythm (yay - that was a good way of remembering how to spell it, thanks!) but I can't do guitar hero either! And son (the drummer, so a very good sense of rhythm) is struggling to get beyond a certain level on it!

I surprised myself (and my kids ) by being pretty good on Guitar Hero when they got it in the summer . OH was hilariously hopeless .

 

However, once it went past playing only 3 notes I really struggled and haven't touched it since . ES seems to have the knack - I get tired just watching him play on "expert" .

My OH has only tried the easy stage apart from one arrogant moment when he tried hard and failed spectacularly.

we bought the "World Tour" (with drums, guitar & lead singer) for our nephews, its very very addictive (we played it for hours Christmas Day )......OH was useless at the guitar and so was I. Kids were brilliant at both drums & guitar!

 

Love the drums though (I have wanted a drum kit for years), felt almost like a rock star!

We got GH World tour for our son, watched him compleat it last night on guitar, on expert, doing very well on drums on expert too, says he is going to compleat all the game on expert, found out how tone deaf I really am (can't sing), I sound great on the way to work in my van can't understand how it went so wrong

I wouldn't know where to start with anything musical, even a game.

 

When I had ballet lessons as a small girl my mother was told she was wasting her money as I had absolutely no sense of rythmn!

We are considering buying our own World Tour so we can "rock out" at home....

Luckily for us our neighbour is deaf.
