Dose any one share my problem we have bark all around our garden with the webbing under neath.With log roll around to hold it all in but the chichens keep kicking it all over the grass so l keep racking it all back in the border but they just keep kicking it out again thought of pinning it down but dont know weather that would work dose any one have any suggestion on this.When we are cutting the grass the lawn mower is struggling going over it please please help....I have had my chickens since 24 april and love the dearly. and blubell ruby and marmalaid there are pics on the photo gallery around page 3 or 4 you will see my problem. Ps l did not know how to add photos on here

It's easy to add photos on here tara. Well once I had Lesley show me!!! If you've uploaded them into the gallery you simply click on them to get the big version of it up on screen. Then you right click on it and a menu will come up. Click on Properties and it will come up with another window. There will be a web address for that picture highlight it and copy it. Then paste it onto the post you're writing inside brackets.

Sorry - can not help - but we had the same problem at our last house - bark on the borders, and hence on the grass! My OH used to moan every time he has to cut the grass despite my best abilities of putting it back again

Mine are just the same, except they destroyed the lawn so at least no lawn mower problem

They get bark chippings in their food and drink too

I got some little low wicker fence edging panels. They were £1 each (in a £1 shop!), and are each about 90cm long. I guess they're only about 6" tall + a wicker loop on top of that, but they do seem to make a difference.

I think l will try a new little fence as aleast it wont go all over the grass.my girls 019

We did the same - but got them from Homebase on a 10%. We still loose some mud / gravel - but it is so much better (OH doesn't complain anymore)

You need to right click the picture and you will get a menu up.

Click on properties in this menu.

There is an address/url bit. Then the web address for that picture.

Highlight and copy this address.

Click on the img button and it will come up with this, .

So you should have something like this: .

Tara, there's a testing forum at the bottom of the page for playing about with stuff. Make sure that the link you use has an image file ending, like say .jpg or .gif
