Janepie33
I am sitting here with a big jumper on, a scarf, 2 pairs of socks, fleecy leggings and a hot water bottle. I told the OH 3 weeks ago that the boiler was making funny noises - "It's just air" he said. It wasn't! The pump has broken and we have no hot water or central heating. Thank goodness for the hideous 1970s gas fire (that still works) that I have wanted to remove for the last 16 years. Fortunately OH is a practical chap and has popped off to Wicks to try to get a replacement part for the system. Now, wasn't there a thread about using chickens as hot water bottles?................. Seagazer
We went down to the coast to close up our caravan for the winter break. We stayed overnight as it was my sister's birthday today. Our caravan isn't heated but we have heaters in there. I can't tell you how cold it was sitting in the 'littlest' room "Ooops, word censored!"ody could bear to have a shower this morning! I hope you get your boiler fixed quickly.
Janepie33
Boiler mended! Took all afternoon and evening to heat up the house, but at least I can have a shower now. Why do boilers always break down on the coldest day of the year?!
