Cinnamon
I am quite pleased with myself for this one I was getting fed up with not remembering who had a farm on my friends list & who didn't so I have done this. Its easier than it sounds. 1 - Go to your friends tab on your normal Facebook page. 2 - On the left it says 'make a new list'. Click on this & type in a name - I called mine farmers. 3 - Open up a second window with all your My farm friends listed on it, then add them to the new list. You only need to type in the first letter of the name. Its really quick & easy to do. 4 - Once you are done, go to My Farm (close the second window), & go to the send a gift page as normal.Choose your gift & on the next page click on Filter friends & you will see farmers (or whatever you named it) on there.Click on this & just those people will be put onto the send a gifts screen.click select all, & send your gift. There you go, easier than all that clicking & remembering! If anyone doesn't do the My farm thing any more & would rather not be sent gifts, let me know & I shall remove you from the list I made Ditto if you want to start a farm & be sent gifts. Nicola H
Thanks Cinnamon that sounds so much easier I send gifts to people who haven't got a farm and then they are wasted...........I am pleased to recieve gifts and always send my quota each day. BeckyBoo
Have you all got woodsheds? Only (being a bit of a novice at this stuff) I didn't realise it would then let you cut and sell trees and you earn bundles more by cutting and selling than by harvesting. So provided you've got a reasonably regular supply from all your mates you can make more cash more quickly! (I have GOT to get out more )
Guest
I think harvesting the Christmas trees is hilarious, I wonder how long they'll stay up?
Tessa the Duchess
A woodshed is a must Mrs B I made a tidy sum chopping down my christmas trees Tessa
Cinnamon
You make a tidier sum just harvesting them all, as they are ready to go again in 6 days I think you only need to harvest them 3 times each to get the full cut value, & I love the way they go back to looking snowy afterwards. I think I have about 40 of them My girls have now both got farms too, as you can probably tell from the comments they have made on my farms page
Angels4
I wish there was an option on myFarm 'plow all' and 'sow all' I get bored doing all the plots individually, but I want a barn so gotta keep going Tessa I wish I could "sell" you my farm. I just couldn't stand plowing and sowing each individual plot and have given up. Thanks everybody who has sent me gifts. sorry I haven't been sending anything back, but I'm not farming anymore, and as soon as I finish my last game of Scrabble I will be removing my account from face book. Tessa the Duchess
I wish I could "sell" you my farm. I just couldn't stand plowing and sowing each individual plot and have given up. That's a shame Mark although I can feel myself finding it a chore rather than fun. I rather hoped that more 'things' would happen, chickens, goats etc., eating crops, changing weather conditions, cattle rustlers If it just continues the same I will probably give up too.
