It used to be called North London Rescue.

 

I've pondered on the idea of applying for some ex-batts from them as they have a centre in Sheffield.

 

My loyalties lie with the BHWT though, but I have to schlepp all the way over to Haslingden to pick the hens up. A bit of a dilemma.

Either way though, some lucky chooks get a chance of a better life. You could always make a donation to the BHWT and then get your hens from Hen rehomers, that way you make a double dose of happiness go to some poor chickens.

I would love to re-home a couple (or three). Need to get permission from the masterful one though. He won't talk about it until tomorrow (er why??).

 

I would love to be able to see them get their feathers back and have a lovely life with me and my two posh old girlies

Brilliant news Clare that some lucky chooks are going to live there lives too Lets hope more can be homed.I took on 2 3 weeks ago but still want to rehome more just need to find some more room.As for hubby as long as its not a cat hes not worried(hes not a cat person or tho they hound him every night for there meat )They do seem to like him which is funny.Wonder how many more forms we could fill in
