Boris70
I wish my dog Boris would do that - if he was off the lead in the garden and the girls were out, I wouldn't have any chickens left
Jane and Martin
Our chickens are not bothered by our dogs - a golden retriever and an english setter. The GR has never been interested in them, however the ES did have a rather unhealthy interest in them in the beginning but this soon went. Now they all live in the garden together. The ES does try to get to the sweetcorn before the chooks, but a quick peck from Gracie soon sorts her out. The hens also sit on the doormat in the porch and the dogs bark for me to shift them before they will come in . We now need a sign saying beware of the chickens
Cinnamon
Our big brave staffie Millie often comes into the chickens pen with us, She ignores them & they ignore her However, she is simply TERRIFIED of the new baby Bantams,& stands well away from their pen, trembling in fear
