Yorkshire Pudding
They charge ? Speaking as someone quite capable of spending no money in IKEA if the item I want is out of stock or turns out not to be quite right, that would put me off going altogether! The store here has free parking.
Goosey Lucy
It's the same at the Coventry store. Being in the city centre they said it was to discourage office workers parking there. However I never managed to get round Ikea in under 2 hours especially when I took the children as we would often stop for a drink or dime cake in the cafe. I gave up going in the end and went to the Nottingham store when I visited my MIL
Egluntyne
It does seem a bit On the other hand, I don't believe I have ever spent less than £20 there...even if the item I intended to buy is not in stock.
Chook n Boo Mum
Thanks Sue, I've never come out of Ikea with a bill less than £80, so parking should be reasonable!! Mind you I've never been there whilst on a "buy nothing new" kick either...this will be an interesting visit ! Luckily there will be interesting people to distract me from spending ! earthmam1
Hi Southampton council would not let Ikea have a free car park and the private free car parks nearby are now charging. Ikea also say they have a 90car stacking system before you get to the car parK as the approach road is extremely busy. should be fun sue
Redwing
Speaking as someone quite capable of spending no money in IKEA You are quite capable of doing what now? I'm not sure I understand One of the other IKEA stores charged for parking but that was quickly changed when they got lots of complaints.
