First day of joint free ranging

I've had a great day. Yesterday I let the new girls have their first free range on their own, to explore and get their bearings. Today I decided to let Molly, Charlotte and Storm join them. There were a few tense moments when Molly met any of the new girls but, on the whole, I am very pleased with how it went. Often they were all roaming close together which is something I didnt think would happen. Of cours it could all change tomorrow but, I shall take each day as it comes.

To top that off, Molly laid her first egg for us today so we had a five egg day :D

AND. When I went out into the garden at lunchtime ALL my girls came flapping and bokking to see me and I got to give them all a bit of a pet.

 

A good chicken day today :D
