KateP Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 If anyone had told me two years ago that I would be growing my own veg on an alloment I would have laughed at them! However, after getting our chickens and becoming a forum member (although I don't get time to come on here as often as I like), I have taken a share of my father in law's allotment and I'm really excited! He has a really big plot so said that I can have as much as I like. So I've been up there and turned over my patch and planted some raspberry plants. I'm also planning to put in some strawberry plants soon. Can't believe I enjoy it so much but it's just so nice to go up there and have time to myself in the peace and quiet!
