preparing the ground for a fixed cube

Recommended Posts

Hi, I did the same, but found that the hemcore/Aubiose got muddy within a day or two  Now, we've loosely laid cheap slabs (£1.40 each from B&Q) on the ground, with gaps in between for rain water to run into, and that's worked a lot better. (Having said that, TBH we didn't leave enough of a gap, and with all this snow the run is almost waterlogged. When it gets a bit drier and warmer we'll make bigger gaps  ).

We have awful London clay in our garden, though, so the water doesn't soak away very well. Maybe Ain't "Ooops, word censored!"ody Here has nicer soil and so you don't get as much of a problem with mud.

Good luck!

I didn't have an avatar before now, but as Mr Cyberchook happened to be in the room when I was on the forum this evening, I got him to (?)upload it for me (I am a computer numpty I'm afraid  )
