Night freight no better

I just had my rablu to chicken conversion kit delivered. A day early (I had pre guessed this and decided to work from home today just incase!) - the box was completely broken all accross the top and down one side. Hopefully everything is there and unbroken as far as I can see but it really seems Nightfrieght's service is not improving.

Well I am convinced the damage he did driving the lorry on to next doors grass was straight after I has refused to sign for it before checking the contents (he tried to just leave it around the back of the house when I was in!), then when I did sign I noted the box was damaged on the form - I don't think he was happy with me.

 

Anyway the photos of the box & grass went to Hayley and she has already forwarded them to Nightfreight with a complaint - I am not convinced they will change their ways though.

Just found this thread after emailing my complaint about night freight to Omlet. I didn't think to mention the damaged box with the run in (everything was in and there was no damage to the content). I did lok in the back of the van and everything was all over the place. I did feel sorry for the driver who was clearly under a lot of pressure of targets, and had had his lorry loaded in a different prder from his round - he was thoroughly stressed.

I suggested in my email to Omlet that they look at moving their contract.

In my discussions with Tony from Aviaries4U, I found out some interesting things about NightFreight.

 

Tony uses them but uses the 2-man service (which obviously costs more). He says he has never had any customer complaints. He says Omlet use the one-man service which has a poorer rate of customer satisfaction (which we all know!)

 

I wonder if Omlet should change the NightFreight service they use - the current one can't be doing them much good, if they're having to accept returns, re-deliver more goods and constantly deal with complaints.
