How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

Only it's very VERY unlikely that we will get a foreign holiday this year so I will almost certainly be looking at camping again. I loved the place in the New Forest that we went to but I stumbled across this http://www.big-green-gathering.com/ and thought it looked rather fab. I've checked out the MySpace page for it and that looks good too, I think it might be a bit pricey but my main concerns are - 1) it's YEARS since I went to anything even remotely resembling a festival, my last one was the Bulldog Bash in Stratford about 18 years ago, I remember getting there and getting home but not a lot in between if you get my drift and 2) apparently once you're on site you're there for the duration? I mean it looks great but I will have my three smallies obviously and I wouldn't be able to spend all day every day doing workshops, it'd be cheaper to go abroad! But something about it REALLY appeals, we LOVE camping and now I'm beginning to remember who I am and the things that are important to me I think I'd like to do it.

What does anyone think? Anyone been, or been to something similar? Taken a nearly 4, a 6 and an 8?

Yup we have been to the grteen gathering and loved it. It is a bit pricey not too sure about your young ones.

 

We go to the Larmertree festival every year . Have been going for years since my boys were snall, Its on 16 - 19 July and you can get day tickets, weekend tickets or longer. (It sells out quite quikly and they are on sale now). My kids loved it lots to do for young kids 2 - 16yrs). My boys are now 18, 20 and 22 and are still going (mind you have now added IOW, and Glasto - it runs in the family).

 

Its over near Cranbourne fairly easy to find and if you feel like going we shall be there

Would do this edit bit to add to my last post except I dont know how. Just to add that the Larmertree do free hot showers as well as winning the best festival toilet award and cranbourne is not too far from Salisbury

Well, a couple of years ago the BGI, (Big Green idea) had a big tent there and so lots of people went from the 'its not easy being green' forum-this has since turned into 'Newhouse Farm' forum, so I'd go and join the forum over there as they'll give you lots of advice and tell you everything you need to know.

Where I work used to sell tickets for the BGG, so I went along for a day in 2007 (it was cancelled in 2008 as it basically went bust). The atmosphere was great with loads for kids to do. Nothing like the vast crowds at Pilton (Glastonbury) but plenty of music, other entertainment and green ideas - from the do-able to down-right wacky. As usual in Somerset, there is little or no public transport. If the weather is good, it should be a really fun place to camp.

It's on my list of places/things to go to oneday as I thought from what I have read and heard, it looked really good

I ran a stall there in 2006 selling vintage clothing, and I have to say I was not impressed. The majority of the people going round the stalls we're all totally out of their heads on something or other and generally quite rude, I had people deficating outside my stall and outside my campervan, and last but not least, for a festival so priding itself on being green, there was a HELL of a lot of litter left on the ground on the day we were due to leave, and I have to say I couldn't get away quick enough, I felt unsafe on site, especially at night. (and I've been to a hell of a lot of festivals!)

 

Larmer Tree on the other hand...fantastic, love it, can't recommend it enough..brilliant for kids and adults and a great atmosphere always lots going on.
